Cornflakes recipe

Here’s a simple recipe for cornflakes:

 

Ingredients:

 

2 cups of cornmeal

1/2 cup of flour

1 tablespoon of sugar

1 teaspoon of salt

1/4 cup of vegetable oil

1/2 cup of water

Instructions:

 

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

 

In a large bowl, mix the cornmeal, flour, sugar, and salt together.

 

Add the vegetable oil and mix until well combined.

 

Gradually add the water and mix until the mixture forms a dough.

 

Roll the dough out to a thickness of about 1/8 inch (3mm) on a floured surface.

 

Cut the dough into small squares or desired shapes.

 

Place the cornflakes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

 

Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cornflakes are lightly browned and crispy.

 

Allow the cornflakes to cool completely before storing them in an airtight container.
